OVNI Jumping Hour (Founders Edition)

OVNI Jumping Hour – Founders Edition

Rationale for the Pre-Orders Update and New Terms

On August 23 we will present the refined and final OVNI design, now in production, and on August 25 pre-orders will open. Pre-orders will run from August 25 until September 13, creating a restricted, stress-free window for collectors to secure their watch. Each piece in this limited Founders Edition will carry its own unique number, making it a truly special collector’s item.

The response to OVNI has been extraordinary, confirming that this Jumping Hour is highly sought after. The Founders Edition exists to support Isotope in producing the components we have been developing over the past three years, and it will not be produced again.

The OVNI Founders Edition will be priced at a desirable £1,500 (£1,800 including VAT). After the Founders Edition, future OVNI Jumping Hour designs are expected to start at a minimum of £2,400 (£2,880 including VAT), depending on design, materials, and collaborations.

The Founders Edition is already in production, with estimated delivery in February/March 2026. We will keep you updated throughout the journey. There’s no need to rush — this is a chance to enjoy OVNI and the world of watch collecting the way it should be: thoughtful, unhurried, and deeply rewarding.

Warm regards,
José Miranda

Isotope OVNI

An unidentified object has landed on your wrist.

The Isotope OVNI reimagines timekeeping by transforming the entire dial into a living, moving work of art. Inspired by the pioneering spirit of 'Lost in Space' and designed to echo the silhouette of a flying saucer, the OVNI is more than a watch; it is the embodiment of Isotope’s tenth anniversary, a tribute to founder José Miranda’s creative journey, and a bold step toward the future.

From the streamlined Rider Jumping Hour in 2016, to the groundbreaking GMT 0º, to the acclaimed Goutte d'Eau and Hydrium, Isotope has consistently challenged conventions. More recent innovations include the Moonshot, which introduced our signature moondiscs, and the Flyway, featuring the hyperbolic paraboloid sapphire crystal, both examples of how the team Isotope transforms technical ingenuity into visual poetry. The OVNI carries this lineage forward, evolving the moondisc concept into an entirely new language of time, powered by our proprietary jumping disc module.

Named after the Iberian/French abbreviation for UFO, the OVNI unites heritage and imagination, precision and play. With its domed saucer-shaped case, luminous numerals, and sculptural presence, it feels as though it belongs among the stars, while effortlessly wearing here on Earth.

The OVNI Founders Edition is a strictly limited release, created to mark Isotope’s first decade of independent watchmaking. Each piece is individually numbered, underscoring its exclusivity and significance. As the brand’s tenth-anniversary watch, it represents both the daring spirit of our beginnings and a collector’s milestone destined to become a cornerstone of the Isotope story.

Space-Age Craftsmanship

Crafting a flying-saucer-shaped watch is no small feat. The OVNI’s 904L stainless steel case and doughnut-shaped sapphire crystal demand extraordinary tolerances to achieve both seamless curves and watertight performance.

At its core beats the Swiss La Joux-Perret G101 Soigné movement, enhanced with Isotope’s exclusive jumping disc complication. The lightweight aluminium time disc, finished with bespoke numerals and filled with Super-LumiNova®, orbits beneath the crystal like a celestial body. With 68 hours of power reserve and accuracy tested in four positions, the OVNI is as reliable as it is otherworldly.
