Introducing the limited edition Hydrium Seconde/Seconde/, a groundbreaking Memento Mori watch without a skull.

When José, the owner and ECD of Isotope, approached Romaric to create a watch commemorating the new logo and Isotope's 7th anniversary, Romaric had a different idea.

Instead of simply celebrating the new logo, he wanted to pay homage to the death of the old logo and create something truly unique: a skull-free Memento Mori watch.

Romaric André, the creative mastermind behind Seconde/Seconde/, began his journey in the watchmaking industry in 2019. His passion for vintage timepieces led him to experiment and explore new approaches, gaining international recognition along the way.

The world of horology has always captivated Romaric, and now he contributes to it by telling stories in a distinct and beautiful manner. "I focus on the smallest details, always playing with the DNA of a product without breaking it."

The Hydrium Seconde/Seconde/ is an eccentric representation of the inevitability of death.

As Isotope's original logo made its debut seven years ago, the company's growth and evolution called for a logo adaptation that aligns with the quality and innovation of their designs, embodying elements of Streamline Moderne and the Lacrima, nature's fluid shape.

Romaric's interpretation places his latest creation six feet under, a departure from the typical 1000 feet water resistance of Hydrium cases.

Limited to only 50 pieces, the Hydrium Seconde/Seconde/ features a black matte dial with subtle hints of green.

The arrows transform the logo to read "OTOPSIE" (autopsy) instead of "ISOTOPE." The railway track style chapter ring, "i" hands, and exclusive Failing Heartbeat second hand are filled with Superluminova®, matching the green lacrima on the black crystal sapphire bezel.

Crafted from sandblasted 316L stainless steel, the watch case exudes a sophisticated allure. It comes with a supple and bespoke black calf leather strap adorned with matching green stitches. The movement is a meticulously finished and regulated Swiss Landeron.

The Isotope Hydrium Seconde/Seconde/ is an exclusive limited edition of only 50 pieces and is now available and ready to ship.
