When Signs Come to Life

Sometimes you walk past a shop window, spot something unusual and press your nose against the glass. Just as your curiosity peaks, you notice the familiar “Will Return” sign and realise that what you want is out of reach.

In a slightly different setting, this was exactly the experience of many watch enthusiasts when we launched our signature diver’s watch, the HydriumX Will Return, in 2021. Inspired by the iconic sign and featuring a white dial filled with Swiss Super-LumiNova, red hands and a light blue bezel with a red Lacrima marker, it captured a universal moment in a completely novel way.

The idea was playful and unexpected, and its success took us by surprise. All 100 pieces of this limited edition sold out quickly, and the HydriumX Will Return was later honoured with a nomination for the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) in 2022. Its colourful character opened the door for more extravagant designs, not only at Isotope but also for other brands. It became a quiet trailblazer. Yet, as a limited edition, bringing it back was never an option.

However, when you put up a “Will Return” sign, at some point you must return.

Introducing the Wall Return

Back by popular demand and thanks to the many messages asking us to revive the Will Return, we are proud to present its larger-than-life sequel. The Will Return has grown to King Size and now hangs on your wall.

With the same recognisable design that made the original so beloved, the Wall Return is our playful tribute to the idea that started it all. It's 35 cm in diameter and domed crystal brings life to any room. The aluminium case is finely crafted and preserves the serrated edge of a traditional diving bezel, a detail that unmistakably belongs to the Isotope design language.

For this clock we stepped away from our usual Swiss movements and chose a reliable Seiko sweeping quartz movement (battery not included). A wall clock receives far less physical interaction, so reliability, low maintenance and a smooth sweeping second hand made perfect sense. It still provides a mechanical vibe, only now with the bonus of remaining wonderfully quiet.

The Wall Return keeps the full colour scheme of the original HydriumX Will Return and features a fully luminous dial, allowing it to remain an eye-catcher day and night. It is limited to 300 pieces.

Introducing the Exit Clock

Some moments invite a return. Others insist on a rapid exit. Whether sparked by urgency or a shift in the atmosphere, the signal to move can appear without warning.

Inspired by one of our most original watches, the HydriumX Exit, we created a wall clock that brings this playful idea into a larger canvas. The Exit watch gained attention for its clever use of a luminous dial that reveals a cheeky twist in the dark. The little man escaping the dial became one of our most recognisable and humorous touches, and its creativity inspired more than a few releases in the industry.

The Exit Clock takes that concept and magnifies it. The design is bold yet minimal, instantly readable and unmistakably Isotope. Its fully luminous background transforms when the lights go out, revealing the iconic running figure escaping the scene. It is a reminder that sometimes the most memorable moments are the ones where you make a swift and stylish exit.

Craftsmanship remains at the heart of this clock. It shares the same 35 cm in diameter, domed crystal and aluminium case as the Wall Return, creating a consistent Isotope aesthetic. It is powered by the same smooth sweeping Seiko movement and built to last a lifetime.

The Exit Clock is limited to 200 pieces.
