🥃 Scotches & Watches: A Night to Remember in Montreal

On a warm summer evening in a western suburb of Montreal, a cozy Irish pub became the epicenter of horological conversation, community, and celebration. The inaugural Scotches & Watches event brought together collectors, enthusiasts, and curious newcomers for a memorable night of fine timepieces, great whisky, and even better company.

With their bold design language, creative dials, and unapologetically independent spirit, Isotope generated palpable excitement among attendees. From the unmistakable Hydrium series to more recent releases, their watches sparked plenty of hands-on wrist time, questions, and admiration.

The event also marked a special occasion: the first public appearance of Marc Levesque, aka @marctime2watch, as North American Brand Director for Isotope Watches. Marc’s presence drew considerable interest, as he shared insight into the brand’s philosophy, future plans, and what collectors can expect next.

“The response tonight was incredible,” Marc noted. “Montreal has a thriving, passionate watch community, and it was great to finally connect in person with so many collectors who’ve followed Isotope for years, or discovered us for the first time.”

🍻 A Packed Pub Full of Passion

Despite the venue’s intentionally intimate setting, a charming Irish pub nestled in a quiet neighborhood, the turnout far exceeded expectations. Collectors from local Facebook groups, Instagram followers, and even a few curious passersby filled the space. Watches were passed around, drams were poured, and friendships were formed over shared obsessions with lume, case profiles, and bezels.

“Events like these are what the watch world needs more of,” said one guest. “It’s not about hype, it’s about connection, and finding your people.”

Throughout the night, guests were treated to:
