Introducing the Isotope Wall Return & Exit Clock

Two icons from our watchmaking history, reimagined for your walls.

At 3:00pm GMT yesterday, Isotope unveiled two limited-edition wall clocks inspired by two of our most inventive and best-loved watches: the HydriumX Will Return (2021) and the HydriumX Exit (2022). These clocks scale up the ideas that defined those releases: humour, visual clarity, and luminous playfulness, while introducing a new format crafted to Isotope standards.

The Origin: When Everyday Signs Become Timepieces

The HydriumX Will Return transformed a universal moment, the hopeful “Will Return” shop sign, into a watch defined by a fully luminous white dial, red hands, and a light-blue bezel punctuated by a red Lacrima marker. All 100 pieces sold out rapidly and earned a GPHG 2022 nomination, cementing its place as an unexpected design trailblazer.

Similarly, the HydriumX Exit flipped a mundane emergency-sign symbol into an illuminated joke: a running figure that appears only in darkness. It became one of the most recognisable and light-hearted dials in the Isotope catalogue.

Both concepts carried an immediacy and wit that resonated far beyond their limited editions.

The Wall Return — The Sign That Finally Comes Back

The Wall Return revives the aesthetic of the HydriumX Will Return in “king size,” transforming the original’s colour palette and glow into a display piece that enlivens any space.

Design & Features

  • 35 cm diameter with a clean, single-domed mineral crystal for distortion-free viewing

  • Micro-blasted aluminium case, individually numbered, with a serrated edge that echoes a diver’s bezel

  • Fully luminous white dial with bold Arabic numerals (black or green)

  • Signature red hands and blue accents inspired by the 2021 watch

  • Seiko sweeping quartz movement chosen for reliability, low maintenance, and quiet operation

  • Limited to 300 pieces

The Exit Clock — A Bigger, Bolder Escape

The Exit Clock takes the humour and clarity of the HydriumX Exit and expands it into a minimalist, graphic wall piece.
