The Hype was REAL!

Reflections from The Hype – A Weekend of Passion and Connection in New York City

This past weekend, Isotope Watches had the pleasure of participating in The Hype, an intimate gathering of independent watch brands and passionate collectors hosted in the heart of New York City. The event took place on the charming patio of The Draper Hotel in Manhattan, providing a relaxed yet energetic atmosphere that perfectly reflected the spirit of independent watchmaking.

I had the honor of attending alongside José Miranda, Isotope’s co-founder, and together we were reminded of why we do what we do. Watchmaking, for us, has always been about more than creating timepieces, it’s about building community, celebrating creativity, and connecting with people who see watches as meaningful expressions of identity and passion.

A Weekend to Remember

From the moment the event opened, we were overwhelmed by the support and enthusiasm from clients, enthusiasts, and friends of the brand. We had the opportunity to share the stories behind our designs, showcase some of our latest creations, and hear firsthand what Isotope means to the collectors who proudly wear our watches.

What made The Hype truly special was its intimate scale. Far from the bustle of large trade shows, this gathering gave us the chance to engage in genuine conversations, not just about watches, but about life, design, inspiration, and everything in between. There were moments of laughter, curiosity, discovery, and even a few emotional stories about watches marking milestones in people’s lives.

Gratitude

To everyone who took the time to visit us at the event, thank you. Whether you traveled across the city or across states to be there, we deeply appreciate your support and friendship. Your passion continues to inspire us, and we don’t take for granted the trust you place in our work.

A heartfelt thank you as well to the organizers of The Hype for putting together such a memorable celebration of independent watchmaking. Events like this remind us how strong and vibrant this community really is.

Looking Ahead

Our time in New York was nothing short of magical, and we’re already looking forward to returning next year. Until then, we’ll carry the energy and inspiration from this weekend forward as we continue crafting thoughtful, distinctive timepieces, always with heart, always with purpose.

Stay tuned, there’s much more to come from Isotope.

With gratitude,
