Isotope × Oracle Time Mercury Vitreous Green & Orange
At Isotope, we exist to bring watchmaking artistry "Métiers d’Art" to everyone who shares our passion. Over the past few years, we’ve explored marquetry with hand-laid straw mosaics, cloisonné enamel in celebration of British Watchmakers’ Day, and a host of other techniques that combine bold design with uncompromising craftsmanship.
Now, together with our friends at Oracle Time, we are proud to introduce a new chapter in the Mercury story: the Isotope × Oracle Time Mercury Vitreous Green and the Isotope × Oracle Time Mercury Vitreous Orange.

Vitreous Enamel: Depth, Colour, and Craft
For these two new editions, we turned to one of the most storied and exacting techniques in watchmaking: vitreous enamel.
The process begins with a textured metallic leaf dial, carefully prepared to capture light. Layer upon layer of semi-transparent enamel is then applied and baked at extremely high temperatures. The result is extraordinary colour with real depth, richness, and a visual life that no painted surface could ever achieve.
The Mercury Vitreous Green shines with a vivid, spearmint hue, fresh, luminous, and full of energy. The Mercury Vitreous Orange erupts with volcanic intensity, its fiery tones animated by the metallic structure beneath. Together, they embody two distinct personalities: light and bright versus deep and rich.
Two Personalities, Two Finishes
A dial this bold deserves a case to match. For the Mercury Vitreous Orange, we chose a dramatic black DLC case, paired with a black FKM rubber strap and matching PVD clasp, an uncompromising frame that makes the enamel’s fiery colour truly stand out.
The Mercury Vitreous Green is presented in a matte sandblasted stainless steel case. By softening the metal, we allow the gloss and brilliance of the dial to take centre stage. The look is completed with a grey FKM strap and a sandblasted clasp, which is understated yet striking.
In both editions, the dials remain beautifully clean: no numerals, no distractions, only the enamel itself. When colour and texture are this captivating, nothing else is needed.
Inside: The Isotope Calibre I-7
Powering each Mercury Vitreous is our Calibre I-7, based on the legendary ETA/Peseux 7001. Hand-wound, regulated, and custom-engraved, this calibre delivers a 42-hour power reserve at 21,600 vph (3 Hz). It can be admired through the exhibition caseback, a perfect reminder of why the 7001 remains one of the most beloved hand-wound movements in horology.
Limited, Accessible, and Unmistakably Isotope
With their vitreous enamel dials, bespoke case finishes, and refined movements, the Mercury Vitreous models are serious expressions of British design and craftsmanship. And yet, at £2,775 including VAT, they remain remarkably accessible for watches of this complexity and artistry.
Each colour is limited to just 50 pieces worldwide.
